“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

COVID-19 UPDATE FOODBANK CENTRES ARE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS – SEE INFORMATION BELOW ON DELIVERY SERVICE
From 11th April 2020 we are changing the way that Bath Foodbank operates in order to be as effective as we can whilst protecting both our clients and our volunteers. The Foodbank Centres are now CLOSED until further notice. There will no longer be any in-person collections. Instead food will be DELIVERED to your door.
From 11th April, people needing to access emergency food should get in touch with a referral agency to be issued an ‘e-voucher’. If in doubt, please contact your referral agency, or Welfare Support if necessary.
Food parcels will then be delivered directly to homes via a non-contact delivery service. This will be the ONLY way to receive a food parcel.
We have contacted all referral agencies to outline in detail how the new system will work.
